WESTERN TECHNOLOGY AND THE REST OF US

 In these late hours of the Pisces age, My Generation is battling against the Menace caused by Religious Extremism, one which has not only dispossessed the African people, but has also broken asunder the bonds that held us together.

Emerging future of advancement

I would say that my generation is not only fighting the wrong Fight, but we are simply dragging the African people into another age worse than Religion, our Generation may not see it, but it's going to be a great  menace for another Generation to deal with.

As we plunge into this age of Aquarius: The age of reason, knowledge, big data and ultra connectivity. We should bear it in mind that people who placed infrastructures for these Technologies are the sons and daughters of the people who brought this same Religion to our fathers . They are in charge of our data, they control what we learn, how we learn and when to learn, they built algorithms that painstakingly studies us individually, no longer as a continent or as third world countries, but individually. It's myopic to think that they trash your data after use.

The Chinese are wise enough to not allow these control freaks to have control over their data, this spells the reason why they launch their satellites themselves, build data centres themselves and are able to know their people more by their information preferences through the infrastructures they've kept in place.

People! we are in the age of corporatocracy cupped in Democracy. First World countries controlling our lives with corporate organizations. I laugh when people hail the people-centricity of democracy. Fact remains that there is nothing like Democracy in reality. The world is ruled by Plutocratic oligarchs who don't care about your opinions or how you feel.

what will the future look like?

Technology in Africa is a good-evil! We may not understand how much damage we've caused this Continent until we get to the fullness of the connectome project: Where the Internet would no longer be an entity on its own but would work directly with signals from the brain, what Techies called The "Brainet".

Religious Extremism is one of the problems of Africa, but not really the main problem. we should learn to tackle issues from their foundation.

If we care so much about Christianity why not separate the church in Africa from the church of Rome and let's form our own brand of Christianity with afro entrenched value system that would Prosper the continent or better still focus on the gods of our Ancestors? Because if we remove Religion from our lives we have got to replace it with something else, It is a natural order. It could be magic, Astrology or some sort of ideology more foolish than Religion. It is funny, but I tell you, In the future people will worship algorithms. It is already here because people like Anthony Levandowski is already building crazy stuffs like the church of Artificial Intelligence.

Secondly, Instead of being Facebookphiles,or Instagramphiles and so on, we had better take responsibility of building and managing Tech infrastructures ourselves. Religion divided us into factions: Jews, Christians, Muslims et.c. The Internet furthered the disintegration in a micro level by projecting this illusion of connecting Us. Technology in Africa Can only be productive if we build it and manage it ourselves.

It's mid 2100's,the lines separating the Internet from all of  humanity is gradually fading, African Countries are experiencing the illusion of Developments which first world countries had experienced six to seven decades prior. Geopolitics is taking another giant leap spearheaded by whoever. The Brainet is gradually stabilising and Governments are adopting it. We are becoming full fledged cyborgs. Magnetism is changing the world in different Areas, Ultra-Supersonic Transportation is on its acme, People are chilling in the realms of the firmaments, with Reusable Rockets moving To and from space. Sci-fi is gradually becoming sciences and everyone is excited. Black people are becoming puppets in the hands of Super Techies who had built these Infrastructures and would be hacked anytime if they decide to revolt, of course the brainet would make it so easy to hack all of humanity and this would take place along Racial lines, and sub-Saharan Africa  would be vulnerable. Don't think Racism will ever stop in the world, note it is a special tool for controlling people.

I am not an alarmist, I am just carefully and thoroughly pinpointing the downsides of the new age. It's not all about firing nukes at Religion, it is all about de-manuring the fields upon which Neo imperialism sprouted.
